We thought about making a clever and thoughtful ad to help raise HIV/Aids awareness and encourage safe sex.. but then we thought, fuck that kids love naked ladies and facebook!

I can’t decide if adds are getting more offensive or I’m just starting to see things differently.

Everyone has STDs because women have multiple sexual partners. Yup, that sounds about sexist.

Because everyone knows women are the ones who spread the disease. Men are just hapless victims looking for a good lay, and they never have diseases themselves.

There’s a male version as well, which even features a much larger number of “check-ins”. It’s distasteful, shameful, and pretty stupid, but while the ad is definitely slut-shaming, it’s not wholly misogynistic. Cheers.

This isn’t sexist at all, it just happens to be a woman they used for the ad. jeesh.
