So I’ve been pretty sick and last night I threw up at 3AM, and called the UT nurse help line and she told me I should come in to urgent care in the morning. I was diagnosed with a UTI on Wednesday and starting Friday night I started feeling weak and my skin was very sensitive to touch, my joints hurt, and Sunday I stayed in bed almost all day. So then I threw up last night and the UT urgent care people spent about three hours doing tests on me before telling me that I oughta go to the ER. O_O

SO. Fortunately my mom came with me to the doctor, which she almost never does, and we spent about four hours in the ER getting IV antibiotics. Right now I still feel really really sick and my temperature is still higher than it was before the antibiotics so hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow because otherwise I’ll need to be admitted to the hospital for this particularly bad kidney infection.

Now I’m sweaty and cold and I feel generally awful, but at least I have Randy on skype singing the prince Ali song and making me laugh.

I can’t eat much, so today I had half a bag of pretzels from the hospital vending machine and three slices of a banana. Not a lot :( I’m a bit hungry but I don’t think it’s worth throwing up…
