i have cramps but they’re not the worst, you know?
i didn’t start laundry until 11 and now it’s 2…i have to be at work in the morning at 8:30 :3
at least my room is a lot cleaner!
i need to do taxes…
stuff under my bed will be stuck there until karan gets home and gets rid of the cockroach…
but really, my room looks really good

Good People!
Hey there,
So I bought a car on Thursday last week. I paid cash, after working really hard this whole semester. Yesterday, though, somebody hit it.
I was pretty disappointed. The car’s body was in perfect shape, despite it being fifteen years old. Now, there’s a big dent in the side panel and the perfect paint job was scratched.
It happened in the parking lot outside of Tiff’s...
To be honest...
I don’t like New Year’s Eve because I’m always really scared somebody’s going to do something stupid and get hurt…

Kickass year, I made chili this morning before heading to work from 8:30 til 5:15, I went on two segway tours today and my back kinda hurts but the weather was perfect!

electric blanket vs. waking up

mysterious smell in my room...SOLVED
I have no idea what that goop under my siracha sauce is but it smells like death wrapped in a shroud of rotted bacon. I tried scrubbing it off my desk but it still smells like death. Not sure whether I was supposed to rub vanilla onto the desk but I thought that might make it smell better. No effect…I think K’s asleep so I can’t steal his diffuser…OH DEAR.

Baking Soda
Today I used baking soda as toothpaste and I don’t think my mouth has felt quite so nice in a long time. For one thing, I swear my teeth are brighter. For another thing, my mouth usually feels like its icky morning breath is being covered up when I brush, but today I feel like it was deodorized. Also, baking soda is only 50c a box, pretty good deal since toothpaste runs at at LEAST two...

Called the police three times last night because of car alarms. Now I feel petty. In my defense, I called 311 first and they told me to call 911…and the alarms were going off for fifteen minutes at a time past 3 AM.

I suppose there’s a lot of backstory here, I’ll try to sum it up.
I work Monday through Thursday at the Jewish Community Center in Far West. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I get off at 8, which is fine when it comes to the bus. On Mondays and Wednesdays, though, I get off at 10, which would be fine except the bus comes at 9:59, and the only one after that is at 10:40, which is way later...
my bicycle
I bought a bicycle last weekend. I got it at this place called bicycle farm, which is kind of a bike graveyard with lots of abandoned parts and full bikes in iffy shape. I actually went to five different bike shops with a bike in mind - I wanted a road bike, with taped handlebars and a thin frame. The cool ones, you know? All the bike shops said that a bike like that would cost at least $500....

i haven't packed
but I have to be up in three hours for our flight to New York. And we’re going straight to Coney Island when we get there. So I won’t get a nap before that other than on the plane.
…and all i’m doing is watching the office and glee since i haven’t seen them since they came back…

I plan to clean and pack up my room, because I’m jumpin’ this joint on Friday! (AHHHH) But seriously. I need to clean. I’ve needed to clean since I moved out of my dorm at UTA. It’s just simple ridiculous.

My cough syrup comes in the coolest little bottle. When I unscrew the lid, there’s a little hole in the top, and the only way to get the syrup out of the bottle is to stick a little syringe in there and measure out how much I need. When I feed it to myself, I feel like a cat getting a vaccine. Or at least, when I see the syringe, I feel like it’s meant for a cat behind on her...

Today I went to the doctor again, and it turns out that on top of my pretty-bad kidney infection, I’ve come down with pneumonia! Won’t be back in school ‘til Tuesday, wah woo wah
What a crazy day today.
So I’ve been pretty sick and last night I threw up at 3AM, and called the UT nurse help line and she told me I should come in to urgent care in the morning. I was diagnosed with a UTI on Wednesday and starting Friday night I started feeling weak and my skin was very sensitive to touch, my joints hurt, and Sunday I stayed in bed almost all day. So then I threw up last night and the UT urgent...
